I did read the sticky post saying that the developer asked that the forum be closed. My question is does that mean that its no longer under development?
If it is still an active project could someone please provide me with a link?
Thanks
Rich

There was some sort of falling out between the mods of this forum and the creator/maintainer of Alacarte. As far as I know, the project is still active.

You can send a PM to Amaranth himself and ask him. AFAIK the project is still active.

I really have no idea why he wanted it removed from here. He cited there are more *official places for support*. There is a thread someplace about it in the Forum Discussion area.

Here's (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=220739) the thread where the closure was requested.

You can find out what's going on with Alacarte and other projects from Amaranth at his blog (at least I do)

Other way is to get it from the debian resp. I think it's version 0.9.2 at the debian now.

Reviving a dead thread....
Alacarte is a part of the GNOME 2.15/2.16 desktop release and uses GNOME's bugzilla for bugs.
