Hey, I got a PPC and Im trying to natively uploadUbuntu onto it. Problem is that in order to allocate space for Ubuntu, I have to obviously partition my HD. Problem is, in order to partition my HD I will have to delete my Mac partition, which I need to keep. So, how can I partition w/o deleting my Mac files?

I think you're looking for the post here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=89960), which describes how to use parted to resize your partitions.

The program Drive Genius will help resize non-destructively. Must have another mac, or a drive genius boot cd to access your drive though. And it's not free.
