Counterstrike 1.6 with Wine

I'm having a problem with crashing whenever I try to load a game with a new map. It seems to crash whenever I need to download a map so I never get to go to those maps.

anyone have similar problems? or know a fix?

the latest wine version is 0.9.18 and has many bugfixes and direct3D improvements.

look here for the newest version: http://www.winehq.com/site/download-deb

basicly add this to your sources.list:

deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt dapper main
deb-src http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt dapper main

and then update through synaptic/ apt-get ;)

i have the newest version of wine and running cs 1.6
the problem is still there... cs still crashes to desktop whenever there is a new map to download on the loading screen. :sad:
