root password

Hi it is my first im on this forum:) so I would like to start by welcoming...

During instalation i wasn't able to change the root password so now I can't log as root....what password is set by default?maybe someone is able to help me:)

Hi,
the root password is exactly the same as yourst user password :-)
The root account is locked by dafault. Every activities which need root priviliges should be called using 'sudo'.
