There are many fools out there, and I'd like to take advantage of them. Financially.
That means I'd like to sell them open source software. For a price that is less than what it would cost to download them and a CD to burn it on.
So maybe "Fools" isn't the best word in the title. But it got you here, didn't it?
Now, I would like to know what I can, and should, leagaly do, when selling os-software.
Shall I just include the license, or should I also include the source?
Is it maybe diffrent for each application?
The once I plan on including on the disk are: OpenOffice.org 2, The GIMP 2.2, Firefox&Thunderbird 1.5 (maybe also a few add-ons), GAIM 1.5 and Blender 2.42.
If you know any other good once compatible for Windows and MacOS(I won't include the Linux version, since they often are included in the distros), maybe some movie/music editors, security software(non-linux users need that ;-) ) or some addictive games, please post them.
Also included in there will be stuff like tutorials, OpenGL API and GTK.
The goal of this, except making money, is to introduce more people to Linux by giving them a taset of OpenSourceness, kinda like a trojanhorse. To complete this, I will includ a HTML-file with links to Ubuntu.com, openSuSU.org, redhat.com, debian.org etc.
