Date & Time how-to question

Last week i reset my g3 Clamshell via the reset button by the hinge...
now the date and time is set to Jan/1904...and even when i try to set it to the correct time upon reboot it reverts back to Jan/1904...also, may or may not be related the suspend function no longer seems to work...

any ideas ?

yeah, i sure do...also, i figured out that the the reason it did not want to suspend was because i had turned "pbbuttonsd" off in the bootmamager....go figure...

maybe my experience will help someone down the road not make the same mistakes...
