Hi all,
first of all, if this is the wrong forum to post this I'm really sorry but I couldn't find a hardware-related forum.
I'm looking to buy a small server to colocate and host some sites and some online applications for my own company and some clients.
These are some quotes I got but I'm having a hard time choosing:
€790 (new): Custom (Chenbro, Asus, Intel, Western Digital): 1U - 250W PS - 1x3.5int -1xopt. slim cd - 2x512 ECC CL4 DDRII533 - P4 3.2Ghz Fsb800 - 120GB Sata 8mb (WD)
€525 (used, Dell): 2U - 2x Xeon 2.0Ghz - 2048MB ram - 4x 18GB SCSI HD - slim cd
€1042 (new, Custom): 2U - 350W PS - Opteron 2.2Ghz Fsb1000 - 2x512Mb DDR400 - 2x80GB 8mb Sata Raid 1/0 - 4x Sata hotswap - slim cd
What would you choose (when 1/2U price diff is minimal with colo)?
