I am curious if I can put Ubuntu on (with working hardware) a MacBook. I am in the market for a new notebook and have been succumbing to pressure to support OSX and Apple in my sidework.

Any comments as to any tweaks/tricks? Thanks! Its all about the Penguins!

Thanks for the info. Since my OP, I got a Macbook 2Ghz (White). I will start playing with it. I would prefer to use just MacOS and Linux on this, and delegate XP/Vista to my Toshiba that has the evil Radeon 200M chipset ... grrrrrr!

I will keep you up to date on this. I am looking forward to mobile EVE online and maybe Counter Strike on Ubuntu or Fedora for the matter.

Thanks much ... and story is to be continued ....

the evil Radeon 200M chipset

What do you mean by that? Does Ubuntu work with the 200M chipset?
