I'd like to request that Celestia 1.4.1 be backported to Dapper. The current version in the repos is 1.3.5. Thank you.

Another vote for the new Celestia. Bring it on! It's nice to practice some of my planetarium skills at home before doing presentations, and celestia is a great tool.

Yes, we need Celestia 1.4.1.

I tried to build it myself but apparently I'm missing zlib and nothing I can install changes that...

Hey DigitalAxis!
You need to install: libgtk2.0-dev libglade2-dev zlib1g-dev libbz2-dev libglitz1-dev. I compiled celesta 1.4.1 myself. It's running almost great, but the splashscreen is broken. I mean splash is not transparent and looks weird.
