Does anyone know of a good vendor for linux compatible Core 2 Duo systems? I'd prefer Core 2 Duo (Conroe), but I'll go with an AM2 system in a pinch.

Seeing as the Core 2 Duo isn't released for another week, no one has really tested it for linux from what I've seen.
If you want to get something like that absolutely immediately after it comes out, prepare to do tweaking and deal with issues.
Your best bet to see the compatability of the chip would be to keep an eye on phoronix.com, they will be reviewing it soon, and should list the parts they tested it on.
As for buying a premade system that's garaunteed compatable? Seems unlikely for a while to me.
