What was the exact error that you got when you tried to install it?

I'm sorry I did not tell the error, when I clik to install the *.xpi it goes to the agreement license and when I confirm nothing happend, My cookies are ok, like it says in the tutorial: If nothing happend...,
Thank you Josh, I really apreciate what you're doing for us, the newbie users of ubuntu, and I love your english accent because I understand everything you say on the podcast, like in my english lessons. :)
I have found another extension called Foxmarks, but I prefer to use the google one if I can make it work.
Thank's again. I wait for the answer if there is any :-k

If this is your first time installing a Google Firefox extension, when you click "Agree and Install", the Firefox browser may display a notice in a bar across the top of the page. View screenshot

If this notice appears, you will need to edit your browser options to allow the extension to be installed from Google:
1a. Click "Edit Options..." in the bar. The Firefox "Allowed Sites" window will appear.
1b. In this window, enter tools.google.com in the box under "Address of web site". View screenshot
1c. Click "Allow" to add Google to the list of allowed sites, then click "OK".
1d. You will need to click "Agree and Install" a second time to begin installation.

Try that and see if that works :). I had to the first time I installed it.

Thanks for the comments on the podcast :)

I have the same problem with Google Browser Sync, and the message thats supposed to come up at the top when it gets blocks doesnt even apprear.

I E-mailed google asking for the link on the support adress for google browser sync, I got this auto reply:

Thank you for your interest in the Google Browser Sync extension for
Firefox. We are actively working on providing more innovative Google Labs
extensions to our users. While we are unable to send personal responses to
all of the email we receive, we are monitoring all of your feedback and
suggestions and will keep them in mind as we work to improve Google
Browser Sync.

To further assist our users, we have created a discussion forum on Google
Groups where you can exchange information with other Firefox extensions
users. You can access the news group and share your thoughts and expertise
at:
http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Firefox-Extensions

Thanks again for your feedback and for using Google Browser Sync.

Regards,
The Google Team

All I can say that it works fine for me, and I have never had a problem with it. I have no idea what is wrong with it, but hopefully someone else out there might now what is wrong with it :)

We use Skype with the skype-rec script. More information and installation instructions can be found at http://ubuntuos.com/2006/02/howto-record-skype-conversations :)

Ok, here it is what I found, thanks to sharperguy:

...Well, I am guessing you are not in America. Try connecting through a
proxy in America as Google seems to be banning certain locations for
some reason and wont give any information about it
Then point your browser over here:
http://dl.google.com/firefox/google-browsersync.xpi

I've just use http://anonymouse.org/anonwww.html and I installed it whitout a problem !!!
