I find game development most pleasant, or any sort of multimedia programming.

I don't like programming; it's either boring, or it makes me angry, depending on the project. There's no better feeling in the world than finishing something in the latter category, though, and that's why I do it.
That said, I tend to prefer game development over other stuff, mostly because I get to play the end product.

Small useful scripts made for your own benefit or web programming (extending the features of my website). It's the only thing I'm good at so that's why I enjoy that type of programming the most :p

I like a challenge, when i start something I don't want to be bored by knowing exactly how I should do it. Results that I can show off aren't that important (they'll come later) I just want prove that "I can do this!" or "Now I've really learnt something."
The most interesting things to make is stuff that you're interested in, like small games can be very interesting to create. My first real program (wich I'm still proud of today) encrypted sentences with a passkey. VERY interesting to script as I find the theories behind security/cryptography amusing to study.

I enjoy making really dumb programs that pop into my head. The first of those was a program that i could talk to (useless). I spent days making a file that would hold possible questions and their answers.
Let me clarify that this was quite some time ago ;) .
