Flash and php/html, Possible to send and recieve movie position?

Hi.

I have a little problem with a webpage i'm working on. The webpage is made of a lot of php and html.
and on the top of the page i have a swf banner. When i push one of my four menu buttons ( its only html buttons), i do a submit on the page itself. But everytime i do that, the movie replays it self. Is it possible to get the current frame when i push one of the buttons, and send it back to start playing at that frame when the page reloads?
