problems with music catalog

hi, first of all, thanks for this beautiful project. it really rocks!

i tryed to add in the music catalog a directory placed in my ntfs partition, but when the program tryes to create the catalog, it fails. Any suggestion about it? i have not tried with a fat partition, but is the problem about ntfs filesystem, or the only directory structure supported is the one starting from ~/Shared/Music/(this would be strange, the program let u choose directories to share...).

What kind of error is it giving you? It shouldn't matter what filesystem format it is.

hi, trying to add catalogs placed in ntfs/fat partitions mounted in /media/ gives me the same error described above (i'm not on my pc anyway was simply something like: loading catalog..../ unable to load catalog from /media/ntfs...). I also tried to create a catalog from a few mp3 songs in /~/Shared/Music/ folder and i got a different error: built properly the catalog but no songs available (****.mp3 : this file cannot be managed by ampache server - or something like that). really strange.
