I was attempting to install ubuntu on a partition on my hard drive. (older dell optiplex running XP) I created the live disc and during the install attempt I was unsure of how to partition it correctly. I eventually got nervous and hit the revert button. Now my 2nd hard drive is no longer displayed on the list or in My Computer when I boot thru windows. Any ideas what went wrong and how to get it back??

When you format a partition or hard drive with the Ubuntu partitioner. You're more than likely not going to see it when you're in Windows, but this is only because Windows doesn't understand that type of partition. If you go back in the Ubuntu installation and get to the part where you're partitioning you hard drive you should see a space (I am not sure how or what it will be labeled as from lack of info) where your partition is. Let me know if you see it or not. If you're not sure. Take a picture and post it.
