CS:S / HL2 problem.

Actually it's more of a Counter Strike Source problem. I've installed Cedega, downloaded Steam, installed that, and then downloaded Counter Strike Source and Half Life 2 through that. Half Life 2 started right up, except for the fact that it runs with like 10fps for some odd reason. Counter Strike wouldn't start for a few trys, I'm assuming it was still updating, but now it loads into the first menu screen, except it never gets to the menus, just hangs at [Loading...] thing at the bottom right corner. I used -dxlevel7 for CS:S startup string, now I can't remove it, since game just freezes at Loading.. Could that be causing a problem? I'm all out of ideas.
