After an update my ssh sessions seem to close after just about 10 seconds. Its not closing the connection as I can get back into the server and with w see that my sessions are still active on the server. I just can't do anything in the terminal screen. I can switch to putty on the winders side and it works fine. Even my qemu ssh session does this. I've tried the serverkeepalive and what not that I could find on the interwebs but nothing seems to be working. I even reinstalled ssh and deleted /etc/ssh* but no luck.

here is my output from ssh

and then it just hangs after about 10 seconds and I can't do anything.

I have fixed this problem. If anyone else has this problem here is what happened. I let network-manager update when I do not use it. It wrote over my interfaces file and screwed it all up. I had my broadcast the same as my IP and the netmask at /32. Purged network-manager and redid my files, now everything is back to normal. Now to tell apt not to install network-manager on upgrade.
