I just ordered the parts for a new server. This will be my primary all-purpose server, including web, sftp, remote desktop, and a Counter-Strike Source Dedicated server at times.

I want to use 64 bit dapper. Will this cause any issues as far as compatibility? is there a 64bit Source Dedicated Server?

Also, after I do a server install, can I apt-get install xubuntu-desktop in order to set up a remote desktop with VNC? My server is going to be at home while I am at school, so I want to be able to shell into it from anywhere.

From my Day of Defeat: Source installation folder:
-rwxr-xr-- 1 dods users 180K 2006-07-10 07:40 srcds_amd*
I'm assuming srcds_amd is for 64-bit AMDs

This thread (http://server.counter-strike.net/forums/archive/index.php/t-35047.html) seems to confirm that. So yes, there is. :)
