I've decided to try 12.04 and so far I'm having good luck and like the KDE desk top.
I have two hard drives one with 11.04 and the other with 12.04.

I seem to be stuck trying to mover all my thunderbird accounts and emails over to the 12.04 hard drive.

Is there some software that will do this?

I'm getting frustrated.

I've found what appears to be the thunderbird subdirectory on the 11.04 drive and copied the entire subdirectory to the desktop of the 12.04 hard drive.
I've tried to use the "Import" function but it just sits there.
Is there an export function on the 11.04 drive that I missed?

Help!

I can appreciate your frustration as it seems there is no clear indication of how to do this. Thunderbird is located in your home directory and this link will help you to move your files.

I have my Thunderbird and Firefox profiles in a shared partition so I use it from all my installs. I also then copy entire profile to my laptop when travelling and back when I return.
