I hope this is the right place to ask this.
I recently bought a Raspberry Pi and decided to use it to learn about operating systems using an online course found here: http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/freshers/raspberrypi/tutorials/os/
However, I am having trouble getting the assembler running so I can build my custom code. The download offered on the lesson's website didn't work for me, so I did a little Google research and found this (out of date) guide: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Toolchain/Crosscompilers/ARMEABIToolchain
and tried that to no avail.
Is there a newer guide for this or can someone direct me to the packages I need? Thanks in advance.
