when enabling wireless acer aspire one netbook hangs having broadcom 4313 network adapter..

I don't understand what you mean by "enabling wireless." Please tell us what you did.
Also, exactly what version of Ubuntu? My HP G62 has Broadcom 4313 wireless, and it has worked flawlessly, out of the box, with the past few 64-bit versions of Ubuntu.

Many people have problems with these broadcom cards, as it also seems many people have issues with realtek RTL8188CE drivers/cards (Ie works on one laptop but not another)
If the problem persists I would recommend visiting this site:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/bcm43xx
And install the b43-fwcutter firmware then the appropriate B43 driver
