Hey Guys,

My internal card reader on my Lenovo ThinkPad E530 running Ubuntu 12.04 is not working
Nothing happens when I insert a SDHC card.

What could I do?

Can you use an external card reader with USB connection?

+1 This is likely to be your ONLY option. Card readers use special drivers -- which, if they were available, would have been found by the Ubuntu installer and be working.

Bummer... I thought I might be able to get this internal one working.
I'm still working on the realtek driver thingy, hope that works out...

Edit: Haven't tried an external reader yet.
