hi everyone,i've just used ubuntu for a month so i don't know much about this so anyone know how to istall autocad 2008 on ubuntu 2008 via wine,please show me,i use wine 1.5.20,thanks so much!
please show me step by step because i'm newer,thanks!

i personaly Suggest you not to use autocad with wine since (depending of course from your hardware, you may to really have a decent productive environment. Just keep a partition ow windows on the side for this OS specific softwares.

I'll second fdrake here.

WINE is great and works like a champ, even for things like autocad and photoshop, but productivity apps like that are seriously best left to native OS's. I don't know why really because more CPU, GPU, RAM, and HDD access-intensive programs like a new-ish video game run very well on WINE... photoshop and autocad are nowhere near as intensive, but for some reason just plain work better in a native environment in my experience.

oh yes,you were right,i agree with you ,i'm using draftsight on ubuntu,i see it's really the same autocad
