Any Linux magazine that accepts new writeups?

I was just looking forward to spending my summer a bit differently by contributing to online/print linux magazines that accept articles/features/review writeups from new writers (as in writers who haven't written to that magazine before.)

Anyone know of any? I have some fairly decently writing experience (but only within my university) and a good knowledge of the stuff that I want to write about.

Any advices / suggestions are welcome and am most grateful for it :)

Why don't you e-mail the magazines and ask them directly to see if they except any? I am sure they would if you write something that is related to Linux that they have not covered before!!!

Have you got a lot of experience though? Anyway, the Linux Magazine I believe has articles written by common people...
