Quake and Malice?

I recently discovered original unused copies of Quake and Malice that I'd forgotten about and I heard there was a Linux port of Quake. I'm using an nVidia GeForce 4 Ti 4200 graphics card. Can someone give me advice on how to install and run Quake and Malice on my Linux machine?
