Hey folks,
I installed Ubuntu 12.10 (64-bit) onto my MacBook (5.1) a few days ago. I just noticed that it won't resume if I close and open the lid.
Because this issue is really annoying me, I looked around for various solutions but didn't come across any that worked.
I figured this has something to do with the Nouveau-driver, since if I use the NVidia-driver, I can suspend and resume successfully. Currently I am using GNOME 3 and want to keep it.
Unfortunately, if I use the NVidia-driver, I can't use any other desktop manager than Gnome Classic (no effects). Additionally, Chrome crashes everytime I use the Nvidia-driver.
Does anyone have a solution to enable suspend while using the Nouveau-driver (so I can keep using Ubuntu & GNOME 3)?
