I have some resolution options provided by Ubuntu 12.04 out of the box. I have displayed a screen shot below.

I chosen 1366x768 because it is the only true 16:9 resolution from the options above. Now, in this resolution, everything looks so small and it would be nice to have bigger fonts. But after using bigger fonts, I realized that fonts on web pages are still to small and using default zoom 105% is not the answer (though I have tried that and I feel uncomfortable with it).

My idea is to lower the resolution to something like 1280x720 and still in 16:9 aspect ratio. The thing that I don't understand is how to have custom option on that drop-down menu above.

Does anyone here knows how to do it?

Thank you in advance.
