Hey guys, I'm very new with linux and just got a laptop up and running with Ubuntu 12.10.
Just about a day after installing the OS, my terminal or text mode (CTRL+ALT+F1) is flooded with a message,
[drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: PMC - unhandled INTR 0x00040000
All I can tell is that it has something to do with my video drivers. And I haven't made any attempts to get new drivers from Nvidia's site. I have a 640m LE. The flooded messages are preventing me from being able to do anything. I can use the desktop fine and can use the terminal program on the desktop itself. Thanks for any help and bare with me if I don't understand every jargon used. :P
