I re-installed Ubuntu 12.04 and now i cant right click on a mounted usb to format it like i did before? Any ideas how to do this?

Open the Dash and type in disk. Click on the app Disks. Highlight the usb stick and then top right is a gear icon. From there it's self explanatory.

There are other options under the other gear next to the + and - icons.

I just want to right click USB icon that opens when i insert a flash-drive and then format it.I know bout the disk utility, before was way easier :-). TYVM :-)

Since you are on 12.04 you could try the app myunity. Then you can try edit the quicklists to include format. You'll have to have a poke around.

Me, I just use Disks.

I dont know what i did but it is working now?.........Man , gotta love the Bunt, it just fixes itself!!
