Can someone confirm the range of number prefixes for pam_motd scripts, I assume 00 to 99 inclusive?
What order are scripts run in if they begin with the same number, for example 3 scripts starting with 17-? Are they run in (ascii) alphabetical order, creation date, etc.?
And finally is there a way to test the complete motd without logging out and back in. I don't mean running individual scripts one by one, I mean creating the final motd file and printing it (without logging out).
