When directed to upgrade to the latest Ubuntu I followed the upgrade instructions and got upgraded to 11.10 from 11.04. This is not the latest version I understand but it works.
I have internet service through a Charter package deal and the cable modem is a Cisco DPC 3010. with only 1 LAN output which allows me to connect to the internet. When I connect a Cisco Linksys router to that out let I can't access internet thru the LAN outputs or wireless. It shows that I have connection to that router though.
With my previous service with Comcast and a Dlink cable modem I could do that. How can I fix that? http://ubuntuforums.org/images/icons/icon8.gif
