I have cedega installed and it was working fine for a long time there. I was very happy with it. Im not sure if this is related but it seems to have happened after this - but i installed UT2k4 and after this cedega failed its OpenGL Direct Rendering test and all games fail to load. What could this be to do with? Will uninstalling UT2k4 likely help this problem? (as i would like to also run it)

UT2k4, has a native installer... copy it onto the desktop & then run it from there. You don't need Cedega for UT!

It looks like he installed it native but it seems to have screwed cedega. Then cedega screwed OpenGL.

UT is running native - it works fine but now nothing in cedega works because of OpenGL. I really want to get this running without doing a format.
UPDATE: Uninstalling UT2004 has not fixed it.

I am still dumb, when it comes to linux, so I think in the windoze way mostly still...
Have you tried uninstalling Cedega & reinstalling?
Sorry, I don't know much, its what I would do.

It has nothing to do with cedega as nothing has changed in it at all. I have also run glxinfo and it comes up with direct rendering: no - this said yes before the unknown change occored. UT obviously uses this and was still working. I am very confused with this error. Would posting my xorg.conf help?
