Not given the option to upgrade to 12.10

I just noticed that 12.10 was released and I found the instructions to upgrade my 12.04 install. When I loaded the update manager and checked for the upgrade I wasn't given the option to upgrade.

I'm in the process of downloading the iso now so I can do the install manually. I just hoping I could do it without undoing all the stuff I have now.

Go to your GUI "Software Updater" and select "Settings". Under the "updates" tab, make sure that you have selected the option "For any new version" beside the parameter "Notify me of a new Ubuntu version".

I'm going to take a guess and say that at the moment, you've only got LTS selected. Best of luck!
