I have a couple of computers I'm playing with remotely, a Raspberry Pi and a Hackberry. When trying out various different systems on them, which just takes swapping the sd card, I end up changing their hostname from time to time.
My Ubuntu 12.04 system will not let me ssh to the new hostname, but it does work with the ip address unless I reboot.
Is there some way, maybe with a bash script, that I can get Ubuntu to refresh whatever list it is using for computer names?
Or is this something the router is caching?
