Hello,
I apologizing if this is no the correct location for my question. I am having issues accessing software on our computer clusters here at school from my personal laptop. Now when using windows/putty/xming I can successfully get the programs to display on my PC, so I know the xforwarding is working on the school clusters. But when attempting to use my virtual machine of Ubuntu 12.04(32-bit), I get a series of badwindow error messages. I have also tried ssh -X, ssh -Y, ssh -X -Y, none of them seem to be working. In addition, I cant get it to work between the classic gnome session or unity desktop environment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
