It might still have some life after all... Would be nice to have a Linux alternative to Android. Tizen would be nice, but I'm not sure how serious Samsung is about it. With an upstart company to maintain and support Meego, it could be very successful. After all, Android was a startup before Google bought them...

I hope their handset has a hardware keyboard. There is no substitute for that.

Speaking of hardware keyboard, BB10 is looking good, though it's not open-source.

I really hope Jolla does well. We need a real open-source alternative, backed by a company that is serious about success. I like Android, and I like Google, but this will only help the market (as Android does have its downfalls).
