View Full Version : [ubuntu] Weird problems after reboot.

Yesterday I rebooted my work laptop, which docks and uses two external monitors.
I am now having a few problems. First, some applications look ugly. Thunderbird is gray, and Chromium is an odd blue when set to use the GTK theme.
Second, the menus in Terminal no longer integrate into the top bar.
Last, some keyboard shortcuts no longer function. For example <alt>+<shift>+i is set to increase the volume and <alt>+<shift>+m decreases the volume. However it no longer does anything. Other keyboard shortcuts, like <ctl>+<alt>+arrow moves around my desktop and the super key brings up the dash.
I've tried doing a complete shutdown and restart, but it doesn't change anything.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on?

I forgot to mention that this is Ubuntu 12.04. I've attached a screenshot of the applications in question.

Some more looking around at the issue, it seems to only by affecting GTK2 applications. GTK3 applications look just fine.
