I am going to buy Wacom Bamboo tablet, is it works with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit?

Are there other tablets out there which works with Ubuntu?

Thanks :KS

EDIT : Is it possible to use Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 as drawing tablet on Ubuntu? It's worth mentioning because it has offered 1,024 pressure sensitivity with its S Pen. It would be great if it works.

Yes. Depends on the model, see the BambooPT HOW TO: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1515562

Sure, see the DIGImend project for supported non-wacom tablets: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/digimend/index.php?title=Tablet_support_status

I don't see why not. If the digitizer is recognized by Ubuntu and Gimp or whatever can handle the pressure input.

There're threads at XDA forum talking about using Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 as drawing tablet like Wacom.

It's not possible atm but there's one who have managed to use Samsung Galaxy Note as drawing tablet, it's still in alpha though.
