Hey guys! I wiped my Mac os X partition off my Macbook pro 13 inch, not realizing that I would get a computer for my birthday. I now have to give that computer to my brother, but there is no microsoft silverlight and he uses it for netflix. I need to take ubuntu off my mac and reinstall os x, how do I do that if there is no mac partition on the actually computer? I would love the help, my mom will be super mad if it is not possible!

Hello,

If your computer was purchased with OS X 10.7 (Lion) or 10.8 (Mountain Lion) then what you can do is on boot up press COMMAND R and it will recover from the Apple Server's.

If your computer was purchased before OS X 10.7 then you will have to use a recovery disk from the Apple Store, but would recommend just get the Lion USB installer.
