Does Verizon fios allow you to host a webpage from your own server? I want to host a website from my own home server that is going to require very very very little bandwidth.

You might be able to do it, but it violates the Terms of Service (http://www.verizon.net/policies/popups/tos_popup.asp).

You also may not exceed the bandwidth usage limitations that Verizon may establish from time to time for the Service, or use the Service to host any type of server.

Hmm, I guess I will just pay for it to be hosted. I love FIOS too much! Also, thank you for looking that up for me

I wonder what the price difference would be for a business account. I'd think then you could host your own site. Yeah, FiOS works pretty good, doesn't it?

I had a business account for a couple of years. It started at about $99/month then escalated to about $120. I decided I was better off renting a virtual server at Linode (http://www.linode.com/) for $25-35 month and switching to a residential bundle for phone/Internet/TV.

A massive +1 for Linode.

They're my first stop for any of my hosting requirements and their customer service cannot be beaten.
