I couldent seem to find a section with good games for linux (Ubuntu, if that makes any difference), so I would like to know: What games to you recommend. I know what a random question but anyway, tell me some games :D

Take a look at http://www.happypenguin.org/ for linux games. My suggestions are (but this is a matter of taste): glest (RTS), cube/sauerbraten (FPS), ysflight (combat flightsim), torcs (racing car simulation, prepackaged in ubuntu), vegastrike (elite-like simulation, prepackaged in ubuntu).

There are some fun games that you can install with "Install/Remove Software" (via the Applications menu). I can recommend X-Moto and Planet Penguin Racer.
Some well-known commercial games are also available for Linux, like Unreal Tournament 2004 and Quake 4. You can download free demo versions of them.
For Windows-only games you need Wine or Cedega. Wine is free, but Cedega supports more games. They have online databases of the games they support.
Remember that for most games you need 3D video acceleration. See the Ubuntu manual (https://help.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/desktopguide/C/hardware.html#graphics-cards) for details about that.
Have fun!

As Bahamut has posted previous, there is a list of games than run natively (i.e. have been designed for or ported to Linux here (http://doc.gwos.org/index.php/Native_Games). Wine may run a Windows game - have a look in their database here (http://appdb.winehq.org/). Cedega is a specialised commercial version of Wine for games, which is a little easier to use and slightly better at converting them - their database is here (http://transgaming.org/gamesdb/)
If you want to buy a native game then Tuxgames (http://www.tuxgames.com/) is a good place to go.

Well, I have a little "crush" for Quake 4 and Doom 3. Both good games, even if Doom 3 is more a "technological demo" than a true game ;)
And I nearly forget Nexuiz.
