I have an iMac 24" circa late 2006 with 2GB of RAM running Snow Leopard. Hard drive size is 250GB. Refit is installed with no problems.

I created a 40GB DOS partition for Ubuntu using Apple's Disk Utility. When i booted into the Ubuntu CD and ran the installer, I chose the Something else option, clicked on the 40GB partition. When I clicked continue, a notice came up regarding a Boot Loader partition that I needed to create. What do I do now?

I assume that you are installing on a Intel Mac.
