Flubuntu GDM theme

I made this GDM theme to go with fluxbox. I couldn't find any official ubuntu+fluxbox logos or names so used flubuntu and made up a logo for it.

It's is just the XFCE logon screen with the colours changed.

Have you already seen this Fubuntu thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=103246)? Last post in it is 2 weeks ago, so I don't know if anyone has done more work on it.

Yeah. that was the thread I stole the name from, I decided that Flubuntu sounded the best so used that name. That thread also gave me idea to use the green colour scheme, so I hope nobody is angry.


I really hope that it doesn't give your computer a runny nose. I accept no responsibility for your computer being ill from using this theme.

I like Flubuntu as a name also, but some people are scared of the flu :) I think we should go for the maximum scare factor and call it BirdFlubuntu. Because H5N1buntu doesn't cut it...

If you really want it: I've attached the BirdFlubuntuGDM theme.

Just move this new file (text.png) into the flubuntu directory.
You might want to create a backup of the old text.png file just incase the new one scares you too much.

H5N1ubuntu might take it a bit too far. Better to be on the safe side.

In both versions, the icon inside the tri-person circle looks a bit like a bird's head, is that what it's supposed to be? If Xubuntu can use a mouse, why not a bird for Flubuntu?

That bird's head is the logo for fluxbox taken from. fblogo-metal.png (http://www.fluxbox.org/download/propaganda/fblogo-metal.png)
Maybe the fluxbox logo goes with birdflubuntu too much.
