View Full Version : 32 v 64 bit?

I notice that in the ubuntu downloads, when given a choice between 32 & 64 bit, only the 32 is "recommended". Is this still the better bet even on a 64-bit computer?

Use the 64 bit version

It is down to very few apps that do not work in 64 bit.

Sorry for not searching first. I usually do - honest.

But on this topic ... a suggestion:
Remove the "recommended" from the 32-bit download choice.

Believe me, if anyone here had the power to change the download recommendation, it would've been done a long time ago.
