You can install a stable version by running

sudo apt-get install bibletimeAnd if you need the latest version, for whatever reason, you can get it here (http://sourceforge.net/projects/bibletime/files/).

What operating system are you running? For ubuntu 12.04 you can use the HUD to search for the application.

I had an issue like that before with 12.04. Try using Ubuntu Software Center to re-install the package along with any dependencies. Do a search for bibletime and install all that is associated with the particular package.

bibletime, bibletime-data, etc, etc

Thanks it did install properly but it just did not make the shortcut---

I made my own though and it worked fine. I typed bibletime in the command section and the icon appeared automatically.
