I am looking to learn GIMP, Inkscape, and Scribus. I have the gimp book so that fine, but am finding it very difficult to get hold of tutorials for inkscape, how did anyone ever learn this programme with precious few tutorials out there.
Anyway, do any of you have links to tutorials for these programes?

Download issue3 onwards of the fullcircle magazine at fullcirclemagazine.org
These give a tutorial on Scribus which I found quite useful:guitar:

with scribus, all I did was jump right in and click around, then googled for anything that I couldn't figure out.
Inkscape has a lot of tutorials built-in, they cover the basics; you can find them under the Help>Tutorials> menu; they open svg files with info and you can play around with it as well.
Another good one for inkscape is http://inkscapetutorials.wordpress.com/

I agree, Inkscape's built-in tutorials are the best.

Though more quality inkscape tutorials would be very nice, you can "transpose" a huge number of illustrator tutorials without difficulty.
