I used Easy Ubuntu to install the ATI drivers. After testing 3-D Desktop it said that 3-D support was not working. Does Easy Ubuntu work with this card?

Thanks

I have the same graphics card, and yes i tried installing easyubuntu to resolve the problem, unfortunately I ended up with the same problems as you: no 3-D
support. Is there someone who knows how to make the ati driver work>?

Remember to disable_modules="fglrx" in /etc/default/linux-restricted-modules-common

Then your good to go.

Someone fix this in ubuntu...

The clearest guides for fglrx I have seen are here (http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Ubuntu_Dapper_Installation_Guide). There is one for the repos and one for the newer one from ATI. They both enable your 3d, although as I use xgl/compiz, I have to use the repo driver, as I can't get the newer one to work with compiz. Also a 200M card.
