Netpanzer multiplayer doesn't seem too fun for

anyone else think that multiplayer netpanzer isn't fun when it comes to being fair-ish not too many servers on there and if you join after other people have been playing is more like "good luck -- surviving through the game you just entered?"

i guess it can't be like starcraft where everyone starts at one time -- since that wouldn't be too fun -- since you don't strategically build bases/armies

im nowhere an expert on netpanzer but seems like every base facility is occupied by people who have already built up huge brigades of panzers and then people that join in get stomped.

sounds to me that the ppl that are on have been playing for a long time, it also sounds to me that since you said "not too many servers on there" that not alot of ppl know about this game and thus the media attention is very low so of course you would get your butt handed to you if you only started playing the game and a select few dozen have been playing long be for you.

i think maybe their should be a game timer on the refresh list to know if 2 ppl have been in there for like 10 minutes and then everyone else who joins gets plummeted

Sounds like a good idea. Maybe you should write to them and suggest some changed, I mean it couldn't hurt and in the long run they might actually listen :)

Don't feel bad about dieing as soon as you join a game.
I told my friend about netpanzer last night and he downloaded it and as soon as he got in a game they spawned him rite next to someone's base and was immediately blown away by the aposing forces.

Do you guys think maybe we should have this thread be the Netpanzer help thread? I just installed the game and I am in the same place as Brachabre. For example I try to alli with some of the bigger guys out there by holding "A" and clicking on one of their units. But I guess that doesnt work as anytime I go near that team that I allied with they just kill me !!! Dont bother asking for help in game. NOBODY even acknowledges the fact I am asking for help or that I am even there!!!!

Can anyone help us out with the basic commands or anything like that ? How to win in a game where everyone has a 25 plus Army when you have a 5 unit Army?

Join a game that has few players VS the max number. That means it just started.
If you don't have a lot of tanks don;'t attack the big guys, let them kill each other off.
They waste tanks by taking out small players and become vulnerable to attack from the other large battlegroups. Figure out how to make allies ( I haven't figured out how to tell who is talking to me) The problem there is that english isn't the preferred language often. My only gripe is that you can't pause and a big game can frazzle my nerves.

Good advice. Also, is there a difference between the countries? I mean if (for example) britain went against the U.S. does either one have an advantage? Or are all the coutries all the same in term of units?
