Hi,
Here's an idea:
Now that Sun are working with the open-source community, how about GPL'ing the OBP. Just seems like a great idea that when you do a Ubuntu (for example) install, you could be asked whether you would like to upgrade your OBP to the current version. A bit like the FreeBIOS idea I guess. I'm not sure how technically feasable it
is, as I think the OBP patch has to be located in a Sun partition (/), before the upgrade can take place.
Is this a silly idea?
