I have no trouble playing any Amazon video through Firefox. However, Chrome is my preferred browser and it doesn't play some of the videos in my Amazon library. The play timer increments but no video or audio shows up for certain movies. Is there a fix for this?

I have been having a problem getting it to play in firefox,it says that my flash player needs to be updated but when I go into Adobe website it does not give me a .deb download option.

DMgrier, your problem is likely different. You may be missing HAL drivers.

I was having a similar problem. What I ended up doing was just disabling the built-in Chrome flash plugin and installed the Adobe Flash plug-in with the HAL stuff.

Installed Flash plug-in so it worked under Firefox

Went into Chrome --> Settings

In the Search box, entered Flash

Selected Content Settings and scrolled down to the privacy section

Under Plug-ins clicked the link to disable individual plugins

I disabled the built-in pepper plug-in and left the adobe plug-in enabled. I was then able to watch the videos under Chrome again.

For sure, this is a temporary workaround, but until they get it fixed again this allowed me to view the Amazon videos from within Chrome.
